Full description	Meet your driver-guide at your Interlaken hotel ahead of your mountain journey. You will then ride a gondola to the top of Stockhorn after a picturesque drive to the village of Erlenbach im Simmental. Your challenging 4-hour hike starts from this high point. With sweeping views of the Swiss Alps, set off from the Stockhorn top station and descend through breathtaking alpine scenery. Oberstockenalp is your first significant destination. It's a traditional mountain farm where you can stop for a cheese sampling. You can savour regional Swiss cheese prepared in the alpine region while enjoying the breathtaking scenery and rustic ambience. After this delectable stop, continue on the trek toward Oberstockensee, a gorgeous alpine lake surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Admire spectacular views of the mountains reflected in the crystal-clear waterways as you walk the lakeside route. After that, the route passes through Vorderstockenalp, which provides even more gorgeous views of the valley below. You can choose between a higher elevated mountain setting with expansive vistas or a serene lakeside location at Oberstockensee for your lunch as the journey draws closer.
