Full description	Begin your alpine adventure by meeting your driver-guide at your hotel in Bern. From there, enjoy a scenic drive to the village of Erlenbach im Simmental, where you’ll take a gondola to the summit of Stockhorn. From this high point, your advanced 4-hour hiking journey begins. Set off from the Stockhorn top station, descending through dramatic alpine landscapes with panoramic views stretching across the Swiss Alps. Your first major stop is Oberstockenalp, a traditional mountain farm where you’ll take a break to enjoy a cheese-tasting experience. Taste locally made Swiss cheese, produced right in the alpine region, while soaking in the rustic atmosphere and stunning views. After this delicious stop, continue on the trail toward Oberstockensee, a pristine alpine lake surrounded by breathtaking scenery. As you follow the lakeside path, you'll enjoy stunning reflections of the mountains in the clear waters. The route then takes you through Vorderstockenalp, offering more picturesque vistas of the valley below. As the hike nears its conclusion, you’ll have the option to enjoy a picnic, choosing between a peaceful lakeside spot at Oberstockensee or a more elevated mountain setting with sweeping views. Relax and refuel in nature's embrace after your challenging trek. The hike ends in Chrindi, where you can either explore further or take the gondola back down to Erlenbach.
