This scenic route offers breathtaking views and Alpine wonders as it winds above Lake Oeschinen. Throughout the hike, you'll be accompanied by an experienced guide. Your adventure begins with a convenient private transfer from your hotel in Bern, where you'll meet your driver-guide. After a brief overview, ensuring you're appropriately dressed for the hike, you'll be ready to depart. The journey starts with a picturesque drive to Kandersteg in Central Switzerland. Upon arrival, you'll meet with your hiking guide and ascend via gondola to the Oeschinensee station. The 9-kilometer Lake Oeschinen Loop trail, though moderately challenging, provides unparalleled panoramic views above the lake. Traverse meadows and forests, pausing at scenic viewpoints to admire the lake's beauty. Along the way, your guide will offer insights into the local ecology, geology, and terrain.
